How Did Speechie Drama Begin?

Speechie Drama was founded by Louisa, a speech and drama teacher with over 14 years' experience.

Having trained in speech and drama from a young age herself, Louisa has seen first-hand the powerful impact it can have on a child's confidence, communication and self-expression.

However, finding the right teacher isn't always straightforward- and for teachers, finding the right students can be just as challenging.

Speechie Drama was created to bring both together in one place, making access to high-quality speech and drama teaching simple, flexible and accessible.

Carefully Selected Teachers

At Speechie Drama, quality and trust are at the heart of everything we do.

Every teacher on the platform is carefully selected to ensure they are experienced, qualified and trusted to work with children.

Each teacher:

• Has a minimum of 3 years' teaching experience
• Holds relevant qualifications (degree level or equivalent)
• Has an enhanced DBS check
• Is personally reviewed and approved by the founder

For teachers offering in-person lessons, teaching spaces are also reviewed virtually to ensure they are safe and appropriate.

Our aim is to give parents complete confidence when choosing a teacher.
